About Us
Founded in 2000 by architects Marta Couto Barros and Hugo Martins Camelo, BMC architects focuses primarily on architecture and engineering.
We are located in Porto, specifically in Matosinhos Sul, right next to the Casa da Arquitectura.
For us, there was no better place. In addition to being natives of this city, we appreciate the creative environment that thrives here.
Once a former canning industrial area, this is now home to the most innovative creative and tech companies, in a relaxed atmosphere influenced by the proximity to the sea.
Over time, the experience gathered throughout the years, along with a keen understanding of market needs, has led us to complement our architectural practice with interior and furniture design, as well as consultancy services, namely in building pathology analysis, technical support, and supervision of construction and rehabilitation projects.
We carry out our work with dedication and professionalism, fully aware that every project we create, every space we design, and every person we meet are essential contributions to our growth as professionals and as individuals.
